WUSSYWAT THE CLUMSY CAT – “Slapstick discovery for kids” (52 x 5 mins)
Wussywat is our first pre-school series and we’re making this with our friends at Bigfatstudio (Simon Quinn & Simon Rolph). We’re proud to announce that the BBC’s Cbeebies team have commissioned the project, we’re now looking for further investment to enable us to start production of this exciting new series.
Narrated by Liza Tarbuck, the characters are voiced by Morwenna Banks, Rasmus Hardicker and Marc Wootton. There are additional top comedy talent brought in to voice other characters as we move on.
Wussywat’s clear message is to encourage kids to explore and try out new things, to not be afraid to fail, and to learn from their mistakes and have fun. In each episode our curious but clumsy cat, Wussywat, explores his world – a limitless garden full of infinite possibilities, without any “Don’t do that you’ll hurt yourself!” adult intervention.
We’re taking Wussywat to The Cartoon Forum in Toulouse (11th-14th Sept), we hope to see you there.
